A Fire Day

The kids got an unexpected vacation from school when north San Diego County was experiencing a bad wildfire. We pulled out a swimming pool Oma had sent and the children enjoyed a blissful day of splashing around while I watched from the comfort of the couch with my baby in my arms. A few moments of heaven on earth.
